Apple Inc has been quite successful since the release of the well publicized iphone. However, recently Apple has come into some trouble with the popular phone.

Production of the phone may plummet over 40 percent in the fourth quarter compared to its previous periods.

Originally it was believed that iphone production would drop around 10 percent compared to previous years. Recent checks have indicated that the drop will be much more significant and closer to 40 percent.

Apple was asked about the situation and a spokesman was not available for comment. Cutting the volume of the phone would be very dramatic for the technological giant.

Apple’s initial production of the phone was great because demand was so high. Now that many people already have the phone demand has gone down and so has production.

Apple now needs to meet continuation demand, however the demand has dwindled. Although the company may be cutting production of the iphone it is still not in danger of disappearing anytime soon.

Apple Inc. has many innovative products and does depend solely on the production of the iphone to stay popular.

Apple reported a 26 percent rise in its quarterly profits due to iphone sales. The company has sold around 6.89 iphones according to last months quarterly report.
